Controversial Nigerian musician, Portable has criticized the late Nigerian Afrobeats pioneer and activist, Fela Anikulapo-Kuti as the orchestrator of his own death.
Portable made this statement during the latest podcast with media personality, Quincy Jonze on the ‘Echoo Room’. He went on to say the late Afrobeat pioneer died as a result of not minding his business.
“According to what we were told, if Fela had minded his business a little he would have lived longer. But he was busy fighting for Nigerians wey no fight for their selves.”
Also, when asked about his online beef with rapper Zlatan Ibile, Portable said;
“I was in America looking for foreign artistes. I was busy displaying my madness online when Davido called me to come. Me and Davido did not quarrel until when the devil Zlatan came.”
